Indiana Cave Trips includes trip reports and pictures from Brian Killingbeck's Indiana cave trips and adventures. Last I checked, I’ve visited over 300 different Indiana caves. The Indiana Cave Trips page currently contains either trip reports, pictures, or both for about 50 of the Indiana caves I’ve visited. I live in Indiana so I’ve visited more caves in Indiana than any other state. There are about 3,000 caves in Indiana. The minimum length for an Indiana cave is 25 feet so there are many short caves. But there are also many impressive caves and a variety of cave and passage types ranging from impressive river caves, multi-drop pit caves, 100 foot pits, and complex horizontal caves. Indiana’s three longest caves are each just over 20 miles long. Indiana’s deepest cave is about 250 feet deep, and Indiana has eight pits more than 100 feet deep. Overall, there’s a lot of interesting cave to be seen underneath Indiana. I hope you enjoy the glimpse into the Indiana underground I’ve provided in Indiana Cave Trips. |
