Vuelo 275

Marion Smith, Alan Cressler

Alan, Marion, and I rode to the airport at 7:30.  Later, Brandon joined us and we boarded flight 275.  It was a larger plane, a B767-300, with 2 aisles.  It had 3 seats in the middle which were flanked on each side by two more seats.  Brandon and I sat in front of the lavatory.  Alan and Marion were directly behind it.  We occasionally caught a glimpse of land and ocean through the clouds.  I saw Florida as we left and also saw some of the Dominion Republic.  At the airport, Brandon was starting to sweat when his bags hadn’t shown up but luckily they emerged eventually.  It was 79 degrees and humid.  As we exited the airport, I thought it was strange how many people were plastered against he windows looking in from outside.  It rained on us a little bit.  We followed Pat to Mimi’s house where we spent the rest of the day.  I took an hour nap.  When I woke up from my nap I thought someone was playing an animal CD.  Dinner was great.  Mimi made us salad and a vegetable noodle dish.  After some Blockbuster ice cream, we eventually went to bed.  I was ready to get into the jungle.  It was somewhat frustrating being stuck indoors.  It was neat listening to the frogs at dark.
