Once again, the air temperature chilled mid-morning. Alan and I were also being tormented by mosquitoes. I put my sheet over my head and went back to sleep. I got up around 6:30. After a little breakfast we packed our gear and bid farewell to Tom. On our way to San Juan we stopped at a train tunnel which was kind of cool. We think we spotted the small nearby cave Tom had mentioned but neither had the time or light to check it out. After a brief walk on the beach, we went back to the car and headed for San Juan. Alan and I got to sit next to each other in the exit row. Our flight arrived about 1/2 an hour early so I'm now sitting at Terminal B28 watching people walk by and writing in my journal. For some reason some huge guy just say down next to me but I didn't give up any space. I'm tired and ready to look at my pictures and relax. I plan to sleep if the plane isn't too cold on my flight to Indy. Well, we got onto the runway and one of the engines was idling too fast so after maintenance looked at it the captain called the flight so I traveled from gate B38 to B33. My new departure time is at 7:35 from gate B26 so hopefully I'll be in Indy around 8:09. Unfortunately despite being tired I doubt I'll be able to sleep the whole flight back to Indy but I'll give it a try. |

The Tunnel As we crested the hill, I spotted an aqua blue river below. |
The river is so blue because it runs over limestone bedrock. Unfortunately, all that water doesn't exit a cave. |
The Tunnel I quickly snapped this picture as I walked by. |
