Big Cypress North Trail

This morning I bid farewell to Alan and Manuel and drove to the Big Cypress Visitor Center where I once again viewed several alligators from the boardwalk and finally got my boots on readying for a hike. I hiked the Big Cypress North Trail. The trail did not strike me as anything spectacular. It followed the field around the airport and then went into a rather boring and sometimes muddy woods. After ~2 miles I bored of it and hiked back out and drove to Corkscrew Swamp.
