Natural Bridge Cavern

Today, I woke to an alarm at 6:00 AM CST.  I couldn’t fall back asleep after trying to shit and got up a little before 7:00 AM. I wrote in my journal after popping out another shit and about 7:30 went looking for a car wash.  I’d forgot the day of the week but remembered when I saw no business hours for Sunday at Sams Club.  I did find a car wash, cleaned the car, and arrived back at little after 8:00 AM.  Jeff still hadn’t woke.  After breakfast, Alan and I tried to patch the tire while Jeff packed his gear.  We left Geary’s about 10:00 AM CST, stopped by Sam’s Club to drop off the tire, and continued to Natural Bridge Cavern. 

We arrived just in time for the Jaremy Room tour and chose it for that reason.  We later wished we’d done the discovery tour since our tour only covered one, rather large room with many formations.  The female guide’s knowledge of formation development did surprise me.  I thought them randomly drilling for cave was quite cool.  We left, picked up our tire, and drove to the airport.  I stuffed down food after checking bags and later went through security.  Then, I sat in a restaurant talking to Jeff as he drank. 

I wrote in my journal during the flight.  I ate BBQ turkey with Jeff at the Memphis airport and drank a Margarita which gave me a pretty major buzz.  I wrote in my journal on the flight to Indy while holding my piss.  Now, I’m arriving back in Indiana.  I’m glad that I’m off on another adventure this Thursday but greatly disappointed that the current temperature is just above freezing.  Yuck!
