Punpkin Cave

At the pit, I felt really happy to be part of such a large caving group.  I photographed the many lights scurrying about as Alan directed the flashers and models involved in the photo shoot.  I put on my vertical gear and followed the flashers down the pit.  The pit entrance is __ x __ and bells out almost immediately into a large chamber 200’ W x 300’ L.  The spectacular free fall ended as I touched down on a pile of breakdown.  I quickly set up my camera and tripod to make use of the light from Alan’s flashers.  I took several shots from many angles around the pit.  We eventually finished and climbed out.  Then Alan spent a long time photographing Paul at the top of the pit.  Hanging out with everyone was fun.  After an hour, I routed with Jeff, Phil, and Paul.  Back at camp, I ate some shark and chili (note to self, make chili at home).  They made my stomach hurt.  I sat at the campfire for quite awhile feeling rather bored.  Eventually, I went to my tent and wrote in my journal.
