Erin: Impressive building.
Brian: The architecture was quite impressive. We parked in a garage below the library and climbed into a courtyard, encompassed by a walkway that led to the top of the library, behind the library. Then we went inside. I was really impressed by the openness, natural lighting, and overall design of the interior. The gift shop was amusing and you could buy action figures of Shakespeare, Einstein, or read many amusing quotes.
Kyle: It was nice to see this newly-built, (2003) word-class, library. We went up the wall, viewed the city, went inside and toured the interior from the top floor down. We noticed that people noticed us with our cameras taking pictures. The highlight of the gift shop for me were the Sigmund Freud post-it notes that said: "when you say one thing and mean your mother."
Erin (continued): I enjoyed the butterfly on the books art piece hanging from the ceiling. As we worked our way down the library we found that it was the shape of a head.
Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant
Brian: It was great to eat at ST again. The food was excellent. I had salad, really good bran muffins, wheat bread, vegetable soup, chicken pasta and ice cream. The meal was a great value for only $7.50.
Erin: The food was good and veggie friendly (well labeled). I thought it was odd that the cashier bypassed me and asked Kyle instead what he wanted to drink assuming that I wanted the same. I ate salad, broccoli-cheese soup, fruit, and ice cream.
Kyle: The chicken wonton salad and corn bread were the best parts of my meal. I liked the place and I will be back again at the next one I find.
